There’s a retro-modern energy to Jui Residences, the kind that comes from a building that’s lived a past life. Vertical flutes trace the condominium tower’s face, balconies curve into soft art deco arches, and the podium unfolds in wide, sweeping insets. Its style? It’s modern nostalgia at its finest, standing apart from the glass-and-steel towers along the Kallang River. A look with history behind it: the tower rises beside the old National Aerated Water Co. building, its flagstaff and 1950s petrol pump preserved on site, giving the whole address a lived-in, storied character rare for a new development.
117 homes in total, nearly 80% of them facing the Kallang River. Inside, the era continues brazenly: mosaic tiles in the kitchen and bath, terrazzo-patterned flooring through the living spaces, herringbone timber underfoot in the bedrooms. Outside, a green pedestrian network drifts along the water’s edge, built for the leisurely rhythm of walking, cycling and the slower pace of riverside life.
